The Sands is a Monteiths themed brewery bar with Heineken on tap, specifically designed for good times, great beer, wholesome quality food and awesome hospitality. Located directly opposite Nelsons famous Tahuna beach on Rocks Road with the sunniest court yard in town.

Great little place the other side of the road to Tahunanui beach. Friendly staff, good selection of beers and generously sized portions of food. Just don't do spare ribs if you've got a beard - the sauce gets everywhere!

Nice place, but coffee needs to be stronger? Scones more cheesy tasting

The pasta had literally no taste. Blandest in my entire life. No joke. It was also really really watery. Whoever was cooking clearly doesn't know what they are doing. Worst ever. The salad we got was OK tho..
