Janet (founder of Farm Gate Deli at Waihi Beach) is pursuing her passion for good food with The Salad Lady. Salads are available at Waihi Beach Produce Market on Sunday mornings during the summer and Katikati Farmers Market on Friday afternoons year round. The Salad Lady also provides lovely salads for weddings and parties large and small.
Liven up your home meals or your entertainment with lovely fresh, tasty salads. Made with a mix of fresh locally sourced ingredients and some exotic touches picked up from Janet's travels, many options are gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian or vegan. Many are based on recipes from my all-time favourite chef, Yotam Ottolenghi.
