95% chance you'll get a walk in appointment. Weekends are busier. Good range of massage choices. Would recommend oil option - more relaxed feel. The extra money for the herbal soak and reflexology well worth it. Reasonable prices. If you join up and become a VIP, you get 10% off future massages. Quiet, relaxing atmosphere.
Wasn't sure what to expect - I've never been to a drop in massage clinic, but the experience at The Rub was great. Very professional, reasonably priced and nice clean fitout. I will definitely be back!
A follow up a month later and was disappointed with getting some wierd type of squeezing of limbs instead of massage. Also reflexology a disappointment as not enough pressure despite asking for it. Have come here many times and recently disappointed. I really Like the people there so hate saying this - but it's Newmarket prices so not cheap and for price just expect a better massage.
I choose to use The Rub massage spa whenever possible because the service is consistent, the personnel are well trained and the cost is affordable. Further to this there are massage spas in Wellington and Dunedin and the service is the same.
It was good fot quick fix. But didnt realise that gotta pay $20 more each person to use oil rather than dry massage. Thats $40 extra for 2 which can get you a whole other massage already.

Excellent massage every time. I recommend the reflexology treatment if you're into that - makes me fall asleep! I go here any chance I get.
Brilliant! Just had an amazing massage by Ratna good, strong fingers!. Went in with a nagging headache due to sore neck which has now gone. Regardless of who I get, I'm never disappointed.
