I recentlt attended a class at The Quilters Barn. I was not at all impressed. Those attending needed to purchase a pattern to do the class. Which contained incorrect instructions. Due to this error more fabric needed to be purchased. . More costs. Besides the incorrect instructions in the original pattern. The tutor had to keep leaving the class to attend ti recut pieces to customers. It would have helped if tutor had made item according to the pattern instructions which she had written. This could have been sorted before class. Never again.
I sought out the Quilters Barn because it had turned up on some lists of places knitters would enjoy visiting. It has a fantastic selection of quilting fabrics and accessories to support quilting. Not such a fantastic selection of knitting yarn and accessories. So I was disappointed - to be fair - the name of the shop makes it quite clear it is focused on quilting. For other knitters, who might be interested in visiting, here's some photos of the wool selection

Great place for all who love quilting and fabric. Wonderful staff who are happy to help and will post out fabric if you didn't buy enough. Easy parking. Cafe nearby for a post shopping coffee
They were very helpful and happy to share their knowledge of a particular item I was interested in
