The location was beautiful and the atmosphere was nice, but unfortunately the food didn’t quite meet our expectations.nnThe pork slider had a very strong sauce that overpowered the natural flavour of the meat.nnThe Caesar salad also wasn’t to our taste, so I ended up not finishing it.nThe chicken burger seemed fine, though the kids didn’t enjoy the salad as the dressing was quite strong.nThe chips were good.nnWe also ordered three “MOST” drinks listed as $5 each but received only $2 change from a $20 note. It wasn’t a big deal, so we just let it go, but it was a little disappointing.nnOverall, it slightly affected our Ohope trip experience. The place has potential, and hope the taste will get better.
Wow, this place is very popular. When you have a great breakfast served to you with a almond latte, it ignites great conversation with whānau. Thank you it was amazing
Usual stop over driving from Gisborne to Hamilton.nnHad their special Mince on Toast.nSo good. Yummy flavors in the mince topped up with an egg sunny side up on two thick toast.nnCoffee was average too much milk but thats just me i like it strong.
Delicious eggs benny! I was in Ōhope for 3 days and found myself stopping for coffee and getting on with my day so quickly because the baristas are top notch!nBig thank you to the lovely girls who served me, they made me feel comfortable and well caffeinated, that always means a lot to me.
Had lunch here. The food was awful. Had grilled fish salad , the fish was stale,over cooked just horrible and the lettuce underneath was suspect as well. My iced chocolate was basically just a glass of milk with a squirt of tasteless chocolate sauce. Such a shame in a beautiful seaside location to recieve food like this The price was high as well. I would not recommend eating here at all.
