Great gym has all equipment you could want and a nice sauna! Only possible complaint is the water fountain is kinda warm but oh well! Better than planet fitness! Get to work!
They have done A LOT of upgrades to this gym and added a lot of new machines, The saunas are new and get really hot fast and the plates are real steel which is a bonus! The people at the front desk are always supper friendly and make you feel welcomed! Great gym
Just went to the Grand Opening party today and WOW! The facility is so bright, fresh, and clean. Everyone had really great energy and made me feel super welcome. I’ve always avoided powerhouse gyms because I am a novice at best and didn’t feel comfortable around more experienced gym goers, but that was not an issue here! Staff was so helpful and really made me feel comfortable. I signed up and I suggest you do to!
It is one of the best & cleanest gyms that I have witnessed in Oakland county. Being with Tivity, I have multiple memberships to different gyms all around Oakland county.. The equipment is the cleanest, most functional, diverse, and the outright best out of 5. There are multiple cleaning stations. Overall, the members have common sense with wiping down after themselves, & keeping a reasonable distance during this time. The bathrooms are always clean, stocked and in order. The owners and staff are exceptionally hospitable.
Friendly!!!! I love a space where the staff make you feel like family!! The space is clean and the atmosphere is so motivating. I love the powerhouse apparel and the new gym equipment really enhances my cardio workouts! Looking forward to a fit summer!!
The service is second to none. Whether it is personal training, advice ranging from nutrition, supplements, or training regimen, or anything else that may be needed, the staff is always prepared, and willing, to assist. They actually display, daily, that they really care and would like every individual to reach their personal objectives. It is like a family atmosphere. Best gym I have been to.
Was in the area wanting to get a quick work out in. So I just wanted a day pass. It's were Retro fitness used to be and now it's Power House. Most places give you at least a free one day pass for new patrons of their establishments. But I was already willing to pay for it but 15 dollars is ridiculous for a day pass. Way to market your business for new clients.
Dirty. This could be a very nice gym if it wasn’t so dirty. Every piece of equipment we wiped down, the sanitizing wipe came off covered in grime. Staff was nice and the equipment is in excellent condition, people just need to clean their machines or the staff need to. It won’t be in good condition for long if their members don’t take care of it.
GREAT GYM! GREAT STAFF! GREAT LOCATION! No matter what you're looking to do in your fitness journey, this gym has the facilities to accommodate you. There is so much variety at this gym. There are numerous treadmills, power racks, squat racks, dumbells up to 150 lbs, ab machines, a cardio/stretch room, a punching bag, plus much more.
Great owners and staff. Many choices for equipment without having to wait. Highly recommended
