Story

Long before we were all on the dog and bone, news only got as far as the Postman would roam. And early Glenfield was no exception – with a local Postman who truly made his mark on this route. An amputee on an account of a timber saw milling tragedy, he was the type who refused to let life’s mishaps put him on the back foot. Fashioning a footless harness for his horse he ran letters between Birkenhead and Dairyflat and not a single dog nipping at his ankle flustered him in all of 16 years. So before the last leg of your journey home take a load off and enjoy our food and drinks – what ever you choose we know you can’t put a foot wrong. Come enjoy the best address in town.

I went there for my work function, I loved the food there, pizza and beer snacks is amazing and went after with my friends. Love the bork belly salad. Nice and tender. If you love meats. Great place to go to for casual or business.
Havent been here to eat yet but i would love too one day. Came here to set up a birthday and the staff were awesome to deal with very helpful. The space was good size and had an outdoor area, nice and private. It has a playground for the kids out front. I would recommend hiring the venue here, the atmosphere here is great.
In love with the food. Fish and chips / steak are well recommended great service, environment and foods. I will recommend my friends and family to go again.
$$, but decent. Pub food, but smaller and a bit more variety. All around, nothing bad about the experience. Fish & chips were decent, small fish though. Brought own cake for a celebration, staff was helpful on that front.
I have been here several times. The food is great and fresh love the steak! And the price is reasonable, recommend ^^
This is a huge place. Honestly. Got a bit of everything for all age groups. Food is very nice. Especially the Jungle Curry and the Beef pulled tacos. Service was amazing when I went there with a friend. Would recommend it for family gatherings or work mates when you need a lot of space to accommodate them.
An awesome restaurant in Glenfield! The steak and the fish&chips are so amazing. I’ll definitely be going back again!
