The Port and Eagle Brewpub Quiz

As visitors from out of the region, we didn't have great hopes when we set out to find somewhere to eat in Kaiapoi. We found this gem with delicious food, surprisingly good cider, a bubbly, friendly but not overpowering waitress and a pleasant riverside setting in which to enjoy them. Highly recommended.

We had lunch at the port and eagle today. Sophie was our waitress today. She made the whole experience awesome. We will be back for more of Sophie's great service.

Clean interested premises and friendly staff who were very helpful with menu queries. Steak tender and berry cheesecake one of best ever. Very nice range gf options. Meals upmarket prices and fresh beautifully cooked and presented. Amazing views of paddle steamer ..river and sunset.

We had a great lunch and the kids enjoyed their margherita pizza.Great gluten,dairy and vegan free choices.Only one negative thing, the aioli it wasn't pleasant.

Super Friendly staff, lovely food and a beautiful view! We will definitely be back.

Huge selection of on site brewed craft beer, awesome outlook over the river, and a tidy menu.

Pork belly, fish and chips, pilsner and a black beer....fabulous!.. friendly , happy and competent staff...all we could need for an evening out. Thank you
