The Pizza Box is a family run and orientated restaurant/cafe, owned by Angela and Karl Deadman and has two restaurants that are situated in Pukekohe and Papakura. Originally only selling Pizza when it opened in Pukekohe in December 2001, the Pizza Box has grown phenomenally in both its menu and customer base over the past 9 years with its friendly and vibrant atmosphere, excellent food and its outstanding service. The Pizza Box offers everything from brunch and lunch to gourmet pizza, pasta, fresh salads, desserts, cakes and beautiful authentic italian Bruno Rossi espresso- all made on site daily. The Pizza Box now also offers a Gluten Free menu and corporate catering for meetings or special occasion. Highly, highly recommend! Personally think it's one of the best cafe's in Papakura! Good prices for some plates as they have big servings. Such nice presentation of the ordered food and those in the cabinet , friendly staff, and open bright space. Make sure you check out their special dishes. Will definitely be coming back here more often :

I went in to have a coffee. To be fair I was in a pretty foul mood before arriving but the staff were great. The coffee was on point, the food came out quickly and all together and it was delicious. I left feeling better and very content. I did go and thank all the staff for the pleasant experience and for putting me in a better mindset for the day. Awesome work team!

Much bigger than I thought. Awesome seating arrangement. Great selection of food. I was getting a pizza to take away, but I'll definitely come back to eat in a seat Food: 4/5

Great brunch today, my husband and I loved this place. Cannot recommend enough. Service, food, coffee, ambiance was all spot on.

OLD CLUB SAMMIE Your club sammies are not fresh. When I come in the morning the ham looks stale. Like a day old. I make clubs myself, n it is easy to mk daily.  I had a bite and sure enough was pale n bit off.  I enjoy my other meals but not your sammies. I can tell when the ham looks a day old and the beetroot bleeds into the bread.

Very nice place. Great choice of food and it was delicious. Good service as well.

I didn’t hate my meal at this cafe but I found the food rather average. The prices were reasonable but I wish I had paid a little extra and gone somewhere nicer. The savoury mince however was disgusting and the eggs were hard poached. I’ll probably not return any time soon.

We ordered the Calamari Salad and omelette. Being regular patrons here, we usually like the meals. Not sure what happened today. The omelette had a texture leaving me wondering how it was cooked. Regardless to it was barely edible. The Calamari salad was blah. Hope the meals improve next time.

Was disappointed in the food, was meant to be gluten free.... Most certainly was not! Worst stomach cramps I'd had in a long while....  Dietary restrictions: As above
