I called to enquire about a functional injury assessment, and Sarah was incredibly helpful right from the start. She went ahead and contacted ACC directly to ask about my case and guided me through the process of seeing if the appointment could be covered. In the end, it was more convenient to go ahead with a private assessment, but Sarah’s positive attitude and support made a big difference.nnWhen I arrived at the practice, I was seen by Physio Will, who was fantastic. We worked through the form quickly and efficiently, and he provided everything I needed to complete the assessment. I also found the service to be very affordable.nnOverall, I’m really pleased with the experience and felt really well looked after. Highly recommend!
Disappointing experience.nMy issue was obviously ligament-related and needed an MRI scan since the beginning, but they refused to refer me.nAll they cared about was getting me to start rehab protocols—clearly more about making money than actually helping me.nAt first, they suggested I’d get a referral nearby or in Christchurch but from the moment I mentioned that I would have left Nelson area soon, they simply lost all interest in my care and fully ghosted me.nAfter paying for two useless appointments, I was left with nothing—just a waste of time and money.nWould not recommend.
Merlin is amazing, takes the time to explain what she's doing and why. Have had amazing results after injury and feel so comfortable in her care.
Rebecca you are a God, I can not thank you enough for what you did for me, your love for your job and the care I got from you was above any Physio treatment I have ever received, in fact if it wasn't for you I would not be in the place I am today. Awesome experience at The Physio Institute ! Warm and friendly welcoming at the reception. The physio was on time for the appointment, the professional was very knowledgeable, and the fee pretty low compared to other local places. Highly recommend it !
