Had breakfast here and it was amazing. Wife loved it. I have the full breakfast it was good, but would have been better with a sausage. Maybe a chicken sausage. Pl
Very nice food, the coffee is pretty good too. Service was fine. A little on the pricy side.
What a wonderful place to relax the mind and body. The music, the juices, the coffee, the food all delightful. I wholeheartedly support their policy of no children under 5. Its refreshing to be able to relax with a book and a coffee in a quiet public space. London is full of family friendly places. It could do with more places that cater for individuals.
This was our first visit, it's apparent that The Organic Kitchen has just opened. The menu choice was fine and the food was fine. I love organic so I hope to be a loyal customer and I'm a big fan. Personal preference, but my child isn't a goat, and I don't like the term 'kids' on the menu, they are children. I think there are things that need improvement. The server should know the menu, should be trained in allergies, or at least have some idea. There is wonderful bread for sale , displayed on a shelf by the counter, but there isn't a flag with a price. I thought it was just for display, but my husband asked, and it is for sale, but nothing indicated that. We bought a loaf and it's wonderful. It's all gluten free, I guess you just haven't got the signage up yet. There is no sneeze glass for the open on display food at the counter, I'd like it to be more protected from germs. There is one toilet for customers, done up beautifully, as is the restaurant. The spare toilet rolls are in danger of getting wet on the floor there under the sink, in that basket. Maybe you should invest in a net or something and have them on the wall. We were there on a busy morning, for breakfast, I hope you do well, we will come back.I wish you success , I'm totally behind a restaurant serving healthy organic, gluten free food. It's got the feel of Ottolenghi in Upper Street, but not nearly as polished yet, but it's early days, and I have high hopes. It's nice to see the staff wearing apron's, an uniform's important for hygiene.
Great service & lovely food! My first visit here today. Had the veg curry, absolutely delicious! The lady serving myself and my Mrs was wonderful, it makes such a difference when you receive good customer service. She went out of her way and offered us a different yogurt topping as we told her we are vegetarian. Thank you! And will be coming back :
Absolute joke! I went in this morning with my 2.5 month old son for a coffee and to feed him, and was told because of the fact they had no baby facilities, I couldn’t bring him in! I wasn’t asking for facilities, just to feed my small baby and pay for coffee. Apparently a no under 5 policy, but no sign on the door. The woman was rude- they must be doing well to turn away business, however from the fact they only had one table in, I doubt it. Don’t waste your money on overpriced coffee here/ mush better child friendly independent coffee shops 5 mins away. I wouldn’t even give it the one star!
Some really tasty organic food, if I'm in the area again I will pop in again. Also I'm really please to hear you have banned under 5's from your establishment. It meant I was able to enjoy my food in peace and quite, without a load screaming kids running around. When will the entitled parents learn that not everyone wants to have other peoples kids running around and screaming when we are trying to enjoy a nice meal.
Great breakfast! Had pancakes and eggs on rye sour dough on request
Went here on a Thursday for the first time and was already back on the Saturday. The food is amazing, so is the coffee and the tea. I can't wait to try everything on the menu. The service is a little slow, but you can tell they are working at putting at everything together and the food is well worth the wait.
Awful, we live in queens road and were very happy when this place opened as it appeared to be very family friendly. Today we were turned away at the door because our little daughter is 2 years old and they no longer allow children under 5. They said that it was initially because of buggies which we did not have as we live 3 doors down. But now apparently the issue is the noise complaints. I'd like to understand how a voice of a 2 year old is louder than the 5 year old. This is appalling that a young family would be turned away at a daytime cafe 100 m away from their house in a family friendly neoghbourhood because their child is 2 years old.
