Such a beautiful, well planned, and epic accomodation. Easily fits a huge amount of people, the decor is classy and fun, the fire place and heat pumps keep the place, not to mention all the considerate touches bottle of wine and Nespresso! and spa/sauna. Great cafe a short walk down the road, and close to the mountain. We will definitely be back! Thank you for having us.
Fantastic place to stay, the post office is beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches, the outdoor fire pit, sauna and spa were a real treat. Thanks Mark & Kathy for a wonderful stay!
Stunning accommodation, all the decor is so well chosen and fitted! Sauna and hot tub are lovely to soak in after exploring the surrounding area Ohinetanga track just down the road is a beautiful spot to overlook the Whakapapa river. Kitchens are spacious and large enough to cater for the group we had. Locals are super friendly, and the place is in a perfect position for a wee getaway no matter where in the North Island you're coming from.
spent some time staying here over New Years 2021 and was absolutely amazed by the experience! the whole house has a very authentic vintage old school feel and is so beautifully decorated! also loved the outside amenities and found it so easy to relax in this peaceful setting - will definitely be recommending the lodge
Stayed in March 2023. Lovely historic property with a fun Art deco décor. Everyone we spoke with in town was so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended stop in New Zealand.
