It’s a steep hike down to it but short. Wear appropriate shoes. The spot by the needle is absolutely gorgeous.
We tried to reach this point from Tairua Beach but the waves were too strong even in low tide. We managed to capture a shot from a distance. Very unusual formation.
The short but steep walk starts between nr 25 and 27 pacific drive. Nice view. Do not attempt in wet conditions.
