Would not recommend... ever. There was 2 of us that wanted our acrylic nails removed and a gel manicure done. The lady firstly tried to remove my partner's nails by pushing metal cutile clippers between her nail and the acrylic. Once my partner advised them that it was an acrylic overlay not fake tips they begrudgingly said "well we have to soak them off then". The lady then removed my acrylics I had tips with an old length of plastic nail/tip by pushing it between my nail and the acrylic and twisting it off.. was actually pretty painful. They then returned to my partner's nails and proceeded to scrape the still hard acrylic off her nails with the metal cutile clippers, causing her quite a lot of pain and has left her with nails that look like a river bed bumpy with chunks taken out of them everywhere. Have never had such a bad experience at a nail salon...I am truely baffled.Service: Gel manicures

The pedicures are good but they don’t really take appointments here and the wait time is always super long so not worth it. They say you have an appointment but do not acknowledge this once you arrive and you are put at the back of the queue which defeats the purpose of booking an appointment!Service: Pedicure
I had booked an appointment online for my daughter and I, for some mother-daughter time. When we arrived, the first hello was from across the room with one of the ladies shouting at us and saying “can you come back in one and a half hours?”. I told her we had an appointment and showed her my booking. She asked us to sit and wait. There were some other customers waiting too. After sitting and waiting for about an hour, we were eventually asked to sit in the massage chair for our mani/pedi. Someone turned on the tap for my pedicure and just left, without even checking the temperature of the water. I had to call out for help with my feet hanging outside of the bowl, as the water was too hot. Thankfully my daughter’s water temperature was alright I knew because I asked her myself. She was also left alone with the tap on. We both eventually had to bend over to turn off the tap before the water overflowed. After sometime, we had a different person come over to continue attending to us. They did my daughter’s manicure first, in a rushed and haphazard manner. I asked if they would tidy up her manicure and gently remove her dried cuticles but was told there was no need for that as she had ‘beautiful nails’ already. For the majority of the time that our nails were done, there was very minimal direct interaction or communication with either of us. When the lady needed to work on my other leg, she just gestured to the leg, without even looking at me or saying a word to me. Instead they chatted and laughed in their native language, but in a very uncomfortable manner, that I started wondering if they were laughing at me/us. When I said “are you laughing at my toes?” She pretended not to understand, kept a blank face and carried on. Of course that was the end of the chatter and condescending laughter. This is significant because while we waited to be attended to, I had witnessed other people being attended to, and I saw the warm manner they communicated to fairer skinned folks at the store. I have dealt with this type of racism before, but this ‘special’ time with my daughter was ruined for us by the lack of professionalism and respect at The Nail Bar Rolleston. There are already lots of negative reviews online about this store. Beware if you are black or brown skinned and expect a much worse service from The Nail Bar Rolleston. Needless to say, we will not be returning and I will be telling my friends to go somewhere else for their beauty needs.Services: Manicure

They need to remove the booking option when they don’t stick to this and take people as they walk in very poor customer service . Disappointing when we like to support local - will not be going back
I frequently visit here for a pedicure. Working on my feet for 40 hours every week it's important to look after them. The team are amazing and they always remember me. I love the loyalty card, my last visit I saved $15.
Well I have been going regularly since they opened, you would think they would remember me by now, today I went in, didn't even get acknowledged, so I sat down, waited for 30 mins and walked out, two times before that, I was waiting then they say me and one other person at the table, the manager came over and started on the lady that was there after me , next time same thing,I know they are short staffed, but being an older lady I feel I'm invisible, things like don't help Services: Manicure
The nail technician was very nice, I asked for a natural French tip gel nail extension. Although the french tip wasn't as natural as I would have liked, its very good quality and would recommend. All of the work I had done on my nails was $60 and was worth the money I spent :
