Stopped here today on a drizzly morning and it was a great spot to enjoy really good coffee and turmeric latte. Friendly service in a retro environment. Relaxed seating and enjoyed reading through their informative folder of all the activities, maps and walks in area offered by DOC.
Excellent breakfast restaurant with well deserved reputation. I had the vegan tofu scramble which was spicy and enjoyable and my wife had the Turkish eggs see pics. NZ$47 We had both started when I took the pictures. Service was friendly and the environment was warm and cozy.

We stopped at the beautiful calm twizel for some Lunch on the way to Wanaka ...Ordered Salmon and fish and chips for me and my wife...The food was superb.. delicious ...Good quantity ..for the price ... The staff also was very friendly and polite ... Highly recommended ..
