Always been a good experience dealing with The Music Machine. Ritchie and his crew have always been helpful. Have a couple of guitars and other bits and pieces i have bought off them over the years. When getting stuff couriered its always quick. Highly recommend them.

I've been coming to Napier for the last 7 years or so and have bought small purchases from the Music Machine - straps,  cases, a ukulele, etc. This was my first 'big' purchase from these guys - a Steve Harris Fender precision bass guitar. From my first email prior to me arriving in Napier to the pick up today in store, I've received nothing but a friendly & professional experience. I've just taken up the bass guitar and I know that I'm currently punching well above my weight with this beautiful beast of a bass. However, Richie and the team made me and the kids feel welcome and took me through the basics of the guitar. They took the time to give me a demonstration and allowed me some time to tinker along to see if it was a good fit. The guitar itself is brand new and has been set up well. It came with a soft gig case and extra strings. I needed a hard case to travel back to Nigeria and Richie helped me out with one he had in store. Overall, there was no pressure, no intimidation and just good vibes. There was also good chat about football - and my beloved West Ham. Up the Irons!

Despite being Auckland based this is my go-to music store. I've had pretty inconsistent experiences with the big negional chains. I've now bought 3 guitars, and bunch of pedals, and a power supply from music machine and every time the experience has been phenomenal. They offer very competitive pricing, are super helpful, and things ship and arrive faster than Auckland based stores. I couldn't recommend them higher.

After waiting 9 months for it to arrive, finally received my 'dream axe'- the JM Jag - and in FDY. While production and shipping are not something that Richie and his team can control they were really helpful and accommodating.   Great communication too. Highly recommend them - I'm from Welly and will definitely be buying through them again,

My dealings with The Music Machine has solely been through an online guitar purchase. My initial queries were answered promptly  and in a very friendly and helpful manner which gave me confidence in following through with placing an order the very same day. I was most impressed with the quick despatch of the guitar once payment had been received and to my surprise my new purchase arrived by courier in Tauranga within 24 hours from my initial contact with The Music Machine!
