The hotel is lovely, with beautiful rooms, comfy beds and amazing old world feel. However, it is located in a busy street with lots of pubs with noisy clients who party till the small hours. I highly recommend an investment in insulating the rooms which would make the experience a top notch one!
Very average beer selection, only decent ones ran dry so my options were a Heineken or an export gold. One of the bartenders will talk your ear off if you give him a chance, be ready to answer a fake phone call to escape. Do not order the Ratatouille on the dinner menu. 32 dollars for something so poorly made with no flavour profile and a salad served in a ketchup saucer. Was an absolute piss-take.
Gorgeous old hotel and perfect location for spending the weekend in Martinborough. The bed was very comfortable and decor was tasteful. The balcony was a highlight and was bathed in morning sun. Only downside was that the wifi was quite temperamental but overall would recommend this hotel
The Martinborough is such a special heritage hotel on the square in Martinborough. Warm and welcoming staff who offered helpful suggestions. I thoroughly recommend
