If I could rate zero stars I would. I bought pork ribs and some steaks. Both tasted rancid, like they were literally expired. Terrible butcher. Not even a proper butcher! It's just a store packed with bulk meat products with much of it frozen.
Been here twice now and both times the young man and young lady working the till were very welcoming and very nice. I come from other side of town fairy springs and will be returning every week for my meat, it's the little things that count
Choice is what this place is all about. I travel from Tauranga to Rotorua every 4-6 weeks. It is worth the petrol!! Their meat prices are hard to beat,and service is great even when it is busy,this is amazing because it is on one of Rotoruas busiest streets. Always happy to return.

Took my 81 Yr old mother to stock up her freezer, her Gold card was scanned after the first TWO Items, and she received $0.59 discount, Then the checkout guy scanned everything else.. Bill was $93.15. Didn't realise till I got home Tauranga, or I would go back... Peeved to say the least, I know its a franchise Peter Leitch built this business with good hard work, not off the backs of ripping pensioners. Won't be going there again.

Nice and friendly people who operate this establishment, we like double smoke flaviour on our chicken, and they have always done this for us, happy and smiling staff.
