Great place to meet & eat. Sit at tables inside or out, on couches, comfy chairs or at a long table as a group in a separate zone. Good variety of food for all tastes & requirements. Healthy too. Great choice of different teas try the maple & walnut & coffees. A favorite place for many locals & passer bys.
This is a great spot to enjoy amazing food in a beautiful rural setting. It's incredibly charming inside and outside, all the layout, decor and details make this place very unique. The gardens are stunning, full of flowers and nice tables. Love all the collector's items inside. They do the best gluten and vegan scones with the most delicious raspberry jam. Coffee is great too. It would be a perfect spot to celebrate a birthday, wedding, or whatever you fancy.
Excellent food and drinks. Lovely setting, great place to take a break from driving and relax in the garden. Main kitchen isn't open right now, but there is a great selection of sandwiches and breakfast puffs.
Superb steak and cheese pie. Massive and delicious sausage roll perfectly complemented by the coleslaw it came with. Shared a big bucket of fries that were amazing, best I’ve had in New Zealand okay I’ve only been here a week but I’ve had quite a few in my life and these are up there. Was a bit weird that the chips came out before the pies but this worked out nicely, the aioli and salsa were great. Nice that the pastry goodies were warmed in the oven not a microwave. Coffees were excellent. Service was good. Toilets were clean. All easily accessible.
Lovely cafe with a gorgeous garden area. The food is great, I had the vegan sausage roll which was perfect using pulled jackfruit and good coffee too.
This must be very popular because the food offerengs were a little depleted by 10:30 on a weekday. A good sign, if a little disappointing. Coffees were good, too - but would have preferred them being in a real cup rather than takeaway. We were having it in their lovely outdoor setting.
Pretty dumb we brought a eggs Benedict no sauce and fish and chips and got one fish the size of my hand but good service.
Nice, maintained spaces outside, inside, tasty food, delish coffe, friendly staff. Best place to stop for rest, eat and drink.
Brilliant place to go eat, amazing atmosphere, awesome staff, good music & I haven't even mentioned the food yet. The food is outstanding, the chefs know what they're doing, everything from sweet to savoury is delicious, best of all they have a LOT of dietary options available.
Beautiful and charming Cafe inside and out. Wide range of cabinet food options and so many sweets. I am so impressed with the healthy and *Vegan* options! Thanks for a lovely experience and brunch. Definitely bringing all my visitors to the BOP here.
