This is the best appointed 3 star stay I have ever had. The cottage is small, modern and clean. It has everything you expect, and some things you don’t bathroom heating, towel warmers, incredible shower and French press coffee it has a great walkable proximity to the Wedderburn tavern for a good feed.
I worked with Lorraine at the Wedderburn Cottages to help house our film crew for about 2 weeks. Lorraine was so easy to work with, dealing with our changes, always a can do attitude and a lovely host to the guests. The cottages are clean and comfortable, and right across the street from a great pub. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Lorraine again when needing to find accommodation for our crew.
Could there be a more beautiful view to wake up to?! Our stay at the Wedderburn Cottages was a delight! The charming exteriors are perfectly matched with the modern and stylish interiors, warm and well equipped - such a wonderful spot to relax after a day of cycling! Speaking of, lots of parking for bikes and a great system for charging batteries for those of us with e-bikes. The breakfast provided in our room was plentiful, and the proximity to the Wedderburn Tavern is ideal! Would love to take one of these little cottages home with me… or at least come back for another stay!
After a long climb on the saddle the downhill into Wedderburn Lodge was a great finish to the day. A perfect cabin, warm shower, washing machine to freshen up the cycle shorts and then a short walk down the hill to the pub for tea. Great place to stay on the Rail Trail with amazing views
We booked the cottages for one night recently, the staff were so friendly. The room had everything you could of wanted. Bed was so comfortable. It came with a continental breakfast in which we sat on the deck in the sun and had it the next morning, it was beautiful. Amazing scenery! Water pressure was great. We wish we had stayed longer! The Wedderburn pub is walking distance - we didn't eat there as we were at a wedding. Can't wait to visit again.
