We had the most delicious drinks as part of our honeymoon trip to New Zealand. The service was great and our cocktails were incredible. We came back the next night to try more of the different cocktails on the menu because we loved each of the ones we had initially tried. We can’t wait to come back on our next trip to NZ!Service: 5/5
Had a lovely dinner here, with a relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff. However, we were a bit disappointed with how dietary requirements were handled on the menu. The menu has a legend for diet requirements, but none of the food items are marked with these. When we clarified what was Gluten Free, only one of the main dishes was suitable, so my partner ended up having to have a few sides instead. This could have been easily addressed if there was a Gluten Free pasta option. Dietary restrictions: Limited Gluten Free options
As one would expect, great whiskey and bourbon list. We were there late and the staff was accommodating. Cool hang.Food: 5/5
The best dining experience during our 2 week trip in South Island. We are vegetarian so we ordered the vegetarian options, the food was amazing. We’ve had a very lovely French-speaking lady serving us who was very knowledgeable about the wines which made the experience very special. The decor and ambience is beautiful too- I didn’t want to leave. Very happy to know that they have outlets in Australia too- can’t wait to visit them all
We went to The Lodge multiple times over a few days. Great view and people watching with decent drinks. $9 warm nuts were not warm and only a small handful. It feels like they expect you to only have one round and more on, as there is no offer of more drinks or food. Expected moreFood: 5/5
By far and away the best dining experience in Queenstown - amazing food all round without trying to be pretentious, exceptional service from the moment we walked in and the design is warm and comfy! Much better than some of the more well known options nearby - MUCH!!Food: 5/5
Wow oh wow… what a great location and vibe this hunting lodge style bar is. Lots of textural delights and natural fibres to delight your tactile sense and I haven’t even started on the service, food and beverage. The wait staff were so stylish and attentive making you feel like a VIP guest, the drinks were sensational and the menu is next level for a small bar of this type.
Exceptional service, stunning view outdoors, fantastic local Altitude Brewing beers, and really, really good food. It was meant to be a quick beer stop for us before dinner, but we were lured in by the cheese and charcuterie board and ruined our appetite for our pre-booked dinner elsewhere Food: 5/5
What an amazing place, I think people get lost in the amazing cocktail and wine list with tranquil views and forget about the tantalizing dinner menu. The staff are amazing, they know the product and they serve with a huge smile. We felt like we belonged, we were not rushed. Each dish was presented with a well rehearsed explanation of the food involved. I give 5 stars to the staff too. I saw so many taking part in capturing the views and the yummy espresso martini that they forgot about the food menu. Who can blame them ;- But hey they missed out on one the tastiest menus in Queenstown. If you want to pick a few oysters or a light entree or their main fare, it is a degustation you will not forget. This place is more then a great little cocktail wine bar. Dining tables are limited so book ahead, you will not be disappointed. I could tell you about every dish, but I will not, as I will be back to sample more, that good. Bon Appetite.
Have been here twice this week. Fantastic staff special shout out to Katarina!, Fantastic wine selection, and food to die for. The fish both nights has been superb. Summer outside overlooking the lake just chilling and watching people saunter by....it doesn't get any better with the mountains in the background. Highly recommend to anyone wanting great food and wine!
