I love their Steak and Sausages. I usually have them any chance I get. But they close early 5pm, which is the same time I finish work. Wish they can close late.
Always a pleasant experience going to buy my biltong and droewors. Staff are pleasant, good range of SA foods and tasty treats.
I usually love this place, I go there every week but today's Biltong was not great, no flavour, still very, very moist. I wondered if it was meant to be sold yet because it didn't seem ready.
Wow! Fresh products. Best biltong. Delicious Cabanossi and the staff/owners are wonderful people.
In my opinion, the best supplier of SA products in Hamilton! We've been buying all our favourite SA products from the Lekker Shop since we arrived in NZ in early 2019. We recently ordered our monthly groceries online and had an awesome experience, we even got a free goody with our delivery. 5 start treatment!

If you're an ex-South African living in New Zealand, The Lekker Shop will really make you happy and bring back memories of good old days. If you're a born and bred Kiwi who curious about South African cuisine, then you won't be disappointed either. Worth a stop indeed.
It's always a treat visiting the Lekker Shop, and often a reason to detour 20km on the way home for biltong in the car. Superb meat from the chiller cabinet and exemplary service.
I was recommended this store by a good mate while passing through Hamilton. And was I surprised, their Cabanossi, Droëwors and Boerewors were amazing! The customer service by the lovely woman who assisted me was excellent. Can’t wait for your business to expand, because I’d like to be able to have some of your goods in Auckland!
