Was debating which restaurant to go on Boxing Day and settled on this. The food was so good! The seasonal mulled wine was perfectly spiced warms my body up. The ribs fell off the bone and it was perfect. Cajun chicken pizza box is in our face with its taste and the spaghetti was sinfully good. Do take note that both pizza and spaghetti do get cloy so it’s best to share with someone else.nnThe coffee, on the other hand was disappointing.
The Landing Restaurant in Franz Josef is a great spot for a relaxed meal. The food was surprisingly good — the potato wedges were a standout, crispy and perfectly seasoned. We also tried the pizza and the carbonara, both of which were delicious and satisfying.nThe outdoor seating is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, though it can get a bit windy at times. Still, it’s worth it for the views and the overall vibe.nOverall, a very nice dining experience with tasty food and a comfortable setting. Would happily visit again!
The staff were excellent. Very professional, polite and friendly.nnThe food was excellent with fast service.nnMy ribeye steak was cooked to perfection, garlic butter delicious with a generous serving and my eggs cooked perfect!nnOnly criticism I would give is the coffee was not that nice. Maybe change their brand?nnOther than that I had a great lunch!
Amazing Food . We reached Fox glacier around 8:30 , not many vegetarian place near by so phoned them if they make a veggie pizza/pasta . Went there we were late by 10-15 minutes , kitchen was about to be closed they took our order for Pesto Pasta Vegetarian and Margherita Pizza as kids do like them . To my surprise the pizza and pasta both were on rot the best I had in NZ , delicious.
I would like say the service is good and cheerful, especially the staff who has his very unique hair cut is friendly and helpful.nThe foods are find just ok. We have ordered the pizza and fish & chip. The fish is very plain if we don't use any source, perhaps it maybe same as others. Similar to the pizza.
