Met friends here for an early lunch, lots of space for big groups. The food, the service, the wine pairing was superb. Thanks for making our time enjoyable. It was raining so didn’t get to enjoy the outside area but will return a sunny day for wine and cheese by the river. Recommend the Pan fried dumplings & beer batter fish n chips.
This restaurant was outstanding, truly one of the best in Riverhead. It's a popular spot with a beautiful stream view and an elegant interior that suits both family dinners and special occasions. I visited with my family and my fiancée's family for a wonderful lunch.nnThe menu offered a wide variety, from fish to beef. We ordered beef steak, fish and chips, linguini, and salads. Everything was very satisfying, with the salad standing out as fresh and delightful. Unfortunately, the linguini was slightly disappointing, as the noodles were overcooked. However, the overall meal was delicious, and the service was friendly.nnFor dessert, we enjoyed some ice creams, which were the perfect finishing touch. The restaurant's atmosphere is extraordinary, which was a major reason for our visit, and it turned out to be the right choice.nnI highly recommend this restaurant; it's fantastic, and the bar next door is great too.
We had a perfect sitting today.nOur waitress was lovely and attentive.nI ordered the Venison Pie, which was absolutely scrumptious. The Venison was so succulent and tender. Pastry was perfectly made also.nMy partner ordered the Rib Eye steak, which came with winter vegetables at the moment.nHe's a hard steak eater to please. However, he said the steak was cooked to perfection!nThanks for the hospitality today everyone
Late lunch today for a special occasion and every aspect was delicious. The dumplings followed by the fish of the day dish - snapper - were both exceptional. It is such a lovely place to be and the staff were excellent. Great coffee and dessert. We have been out a bit lately but the landing is tops. Would recommend it to anyone .
This used to be a go to dinner spot and a regular recommendation of ours to friends and family visiting.nnThe last few experiences have been such a waste of time and money. They have kept the high prices and fancy font and language in the menu but the food itself is indistinguishable from below average pub food.nnThe staff and service are much the same and it’s definitely lost its “special” dining atmosphere.nnIt’s a cool spot for a drink but definitely avoid it if you’re looking for a nice dining experience.nnGenuinely upset - was such a gem in the past.nnEspecially that eye fillet they used to do - hot damn that was worthy of the highest praise.
