Tasty Food, we came at a very busy time but were seated immediately. Food and drinks were also quick to arrive.nnWe got the ribs and the fish and chips, both very good quality.nnThe dessert was utterly delectable.
What a truly lovely place, steeped in history.nThe food is really very good, house Shiraz good and choice of beer good.nNice location and attentive young staff.nHighly recommend
I booked a dinner at The Landing and wasn’t sure what to expect as I knew the area as riverhead tavern and expected the classic pub food .nI was wrong , and the food was really good, I travel a lot for work and eat in many restaurants and this was one of the good ones. It was a nice quiet cosy warm atmosphere with enough privacy to be able to talk to each other and not too much noise .nI had the confit pork as an entree which was probably the most tender pork I have ever had and the maker fish which was really good too. As for desert km a sucker for sticky date pudding so went with that,nService was super friendly and attentive , but not annoying in your face alll the time , and food arrived very quickly for each course .nnI would definitely go back again.
Met friends here for an early lunch, lots of space for big groups. The food, the service, the wine pairing was superb. Thanks for making our time enjoyable. It was raining so didn’t get to enjoy the outside area but will return a sunny day for wine and cheese by the river. Recommend the Pan fried dumplings & beer batter fish n chips.
visited the Riverhead Tavern again yesterday after almost a year and I’m so glad I did. Last time I came, I left disappointed, but this visit was a completely different experience—in the best way possible.nnThe staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the service was great from the moment we arrived. I was especially happy to see that the Scotch filet steak is now served with both salad and fries again, just like it used to be. It was cooked perfectly and tasted just as amazing as I remembered.nnI brought two friends from overseas with me and they were really impressed with the food and the atmosphere. Everyone was happy, and it felt good to enjoy a meal here again.nnBig thanks to the owner and team for listening to feedback and bringing back what made the place special. I’ll definitely be back soon for my favorite steak.
