Fantastic little shop with an exceptional array of woodwork for the home. Managed to get almost all our souvenirs here and at a very reasonable price for the quality of the craft. The chap who works there is incredibly talented and a lot of what is on show is his own work. He also has a section which champions other woodwork from the local area. Genuinely sad we couldn't get an entire suitcase of stuff.
I would rather avoid this place. I have seen better collections of wooden art and that too at a reasonable cost. This is so expensive and the old man who is at the counter is so grumpy.nHe whistles and talks to you. Phew

This historic kauri workshop has many amazing handcrafted wooden pieces, ornaments and allsorts! Bought a gift box for my grand daughter here. It's a pleasure to support small businesses!
