In town for a few days and on last night met friends for tea there. Have been once before for lunch and found both meals very enjoyable. Good banter with the waitress serving us and as we were the only ones having meals at the time meals came out promptly. One of the group had fish and chips, one had pasta of the day and the other had chicken and bacon waffles and we all ended the meal with an ice cream sundae. All meals were delicious and we passed on compliments to the chef. Would definitely go again for lunch or tea.
Food was good. Enjoyed it. Staff were friendly. Worth going for a beer and a feed. Well priced. I think the interior could do with up date. Rather dated.
Love the Jolly Potter in Temuka, it's always our choice when we stay every year for 7 year so far. Recommend booking large groups more than 4 - Hosts are welcoming and accommodated our tables requests where possible allergens, onion and garlic super awesome!
