Food tasted nice. Everything were great until I got home & got food poisoning symptoms. I shared food with my hubby, he was ok & only me got the symptoms so I guess could be the dipping that I had with the fish dish.Food: 2/5
The chicken tikka was my favorite. Travelled out of area to visit here. Plenty of to go orders going out the door which was a good indication of the food. Service was abit slow but over all a good meal.
First timer here, absolutely delicious dishes, ordered a lamb madras, chicken saag, and lamb biryani. The curries were creamy and meat juicy and tender. The biryanin had very succulent big pieces of lamb and the spice mix was mouth watering. Will be coming back. Thanks team
Wow, wow, wow!! My friend and I came here for dinner last week and we were absolutely blown away. Firstly, the customer service was great. The dining room was dimly light which gave a more intimate, private feel to a relatively small eating area. But the star of the night was the food - WOW! I have never had Indian food quite like it, best I have ever had hands down - the best meal I have had in a very long time in general. We ordered a few things off the menu and everything was just fantastic. We literally walked away saying 'Wow!'. Vegetarian options: Lots of options for Vegetarian diets.
After scouring most of Africa and India, I would say this is undoubtedly New Zealand's best authentic Indian restaurant. Compliments to the chef and the tandoor oven. The Salmon starter was absolutely divine and the Prawn Tikka Masala was better than most found in Northern India. Trust me, as a Durbanite, I know my curry. P. S. Bunnies not served here... yet.
The service was superb, the food was amazing and the price was right. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I don't say this lightly, but I think that I just had my best dining experience. Thank you.
The food here is good but I’d only recommend using their takeaway service. I used to dine in with family and friends but I got sick of them being really pushy with trying to sell you more and more food. They’d also give the kids full sized meals claiming they didn’t hear you order properly. I came in today for the lunch special and ended up being charged twice as much for a stupidly huge portion that I didn’t ask for.
One of best butter chicken I have eaten in NZ. Restaurant is very elegant and the service is awesome. If you want to have a view of the country life with beautiful mountain views then this the place to be. Parking: Lots of parking beside the restaurant and off road parking.
We drive from Auckland to visit this Restaurant - the food and friendly staff are worth the drive! Butter chicken and Veggie Kormas are our fan faves but everything we’ve had is divine. We are now buying extra and freezing for lunches! They have just opened up another location in Pokeno which is beautiful - and worth the drive to!Recommended dishesLamb Korma, Butter Chicken, Chicken Korma
I have tried quite a few different dishes from the india, and none of them have disappointed me so far it's always just as I expect it to taste, and is quite fulling. I love buying from here
