The Hut - Waihi Beach

Wonderful place to stay. Kids seem to really enjoy themselves. Facilities are so clean.

Not our first visit but as always, a friendly, helpful team. An extremely clean and well-managed resort in a pristine environment, the kind New Zealand is proud of and only two hours from Auckland. The heated pool and spa make this all-year round beach holiday resort a winner.

Staff was very friendly and help us get into a cabin quick and fast on a rainy day and we had bikes. we hadn't pre-booked so it was good. We decided to stay an extra night and they were accommodating. The pool was warm the spa was hots and the areas were all clean.

Bed was to low and hard,overall condition of room was adequate i guess but needed some love and care.

Great location but beach side sites are small and you have to cross a main road to get to the rest of the camps facilities. Toilet/shower block only has 3 of each and unisex. Not cleaned regularly enough especially in peak season.
