Can't go wrong with a good ol creamy pasta. Edit : Went back for a second time with friends. For $26.50, the lasagna was a very small portion! Smaller than the salad it came with, it was like a Salad with a side of lasagna. Unfortunate as the first meal see above 'pasta' was really good. Lasagna was still tasty though, so hopefully they can change the serving size next time :
Failed to take my partner's order and very expensive. Not a good experience overall. I was standing next to my partner when she ordered her pizza and I ordered mine. When they came to the table with my order we were told yours won't be long. Looking at my partner. 30 mins later we asked where her pizza was only to be told she didn't order one. OMG! The one incentive was the graciousness of the manager. I thought he was very kind. That's why I give 3 stars and not 1.
First time eating here..had a lovely rich glass of Montepulciano while my pizza was being made and enjoyed the atmosphere and the southern man pizza was great. Definitely coming back for a large pizza next time, it was that good. Great fresh pizza!
Absolutely delicious! The staff were so accommodating for our son who is allergic to dairy, egg & beef. Vegan pizza was so good, I've never seen both my fussy children eat so much so fast! Tiramisu was devine! 100% would visit again! Dietary restrictions: Very accomodating for child with severe allergies to dairy, egg and beef. Vegan pizza with bacon was so good even my non vegan family ate some too
I got a takeaway pizza and Tiramisu. Very lovely staff and friendly service which is helpful. However, pizza was very underwhelming for $27 I got a half and half Margherita and french chick… both flavours didn’t have enough base sauce, which made pizza dry- chicken was also dry. Was hopeful for the tiramisu but it was so small for $17!! And whatever milk product or drizzle on the top tasted off- I didn’t end up eating it all. I appreciated the friendly service but definitely 1 pizza and 1 tiramisu which was enough for one person for $44 is too steep for quality and quantity.
Very overpriced. I'm happy to pay good money if the pizza reflects the price. These pizzas were ok but if I wanted ok I would have gone to dominos and got twice the toppings for half the price. The toppings were very sparse. Looking a the other comments there seems to be a trend here. The large is also very small considering the price, easily the smallest I've ever had. I wouldn't go back sorry.
disappointingly small portions and very poor value for money in our opinion, $50 for two of us. drinks were extra, we chose the Bolognaise dish and a salad dish and the couple next to us ordered Pizza but when the food came we were all a little taken aback with what they were serving us!. It was such a tiny serving of Bolognaise on the plate and the bolognaise itself presented in a very small oven dish unbelievable small! on the plate and then the plate itself was then bulked out by just a lot of chopped lettuce piled on the side, the Pizza the people seated near to us was supposed to be a “large “ in size but when that arrived they commented it was laughably small and with frugal toppings! we came all away afterwards still very hungry, “should have gone to Pizza Hut perhaps instead” !, the people seated near to us to also commented likewise on the quality of their own meals as well , there were few other customers in the place for some reason. very poor value in our opinion and we thought we had been “ripped off” and we were not happy at all, we will not be returning, give this one a miss ! there are better eating places just a short distance away with better food in our opinion and one of these would in our view would have been far better value as these other venues were very busy and popular with customers like us who were staying at the Beachcomber Hotel just around the corner 2 very unhappy customers!
Takeaway pizza was ready super quick and tasty! However they’re definitely not worth $29.50 each. Toppings were minimal and wedges hardly had any cheese on them. Pasta was good.
Unfortunately, not great. We got the vegan patch pizza. The kumara and pumpkin were both undercooked - they were still quite crunchy and had to take them off. If I was dining in, I'd send it back, but we picked up. The bases were nice, and good service, but wouldn't rush back.
My daughter bought a pasta takeout which was tiny and so it was a very expensive meal. The short waiting time of 15 mins was OK, although this means it may not have been 'freshly' made and overall not as tasty as she'd hoped for from somewhere specialising in pasta and pizza. Maybe the sit down meals would be better and more generous. The service was good though, thanks.
