One of the most incredible experiences of my life with the best staff. We were lucky to have Clarke as our pilot who made the ride so enjoyable. Even with a broken ankle they made sure I was safe and accommodated. Could not recommend enough.
Our flight on Saturday morning was rescheduled because of the bad weather to Sunday morning, and because of the dangerous clouds, the flight plan was downgraded from a 30min to a 12min one with no guarantee of a landing. However upon reaching the top of the glacier, the pilot informed the ground crew that we were making a landing. Everyone was happy with the outcome of the flight.
I flew with THL over 30 years ago and on this trip, I was finally had a chance to give my kids the same experience. We had an amazing time flying to Fox Glacier with THL. The flight was super smooth and we had a lot of fun on the glacier. Once in a life time experience that my kids will remember for a long long time.
One of the best experiences of my life... I'm travelling solo so popped into the office the night prior to see where I could fit in with existing groups. Ended up flying the next morning in perfect weather. Ground crew and pilot were awesome, knowledgeable and super friendly. Absolutely recommended!!
This was one of the most amazing experiences that I’ve ever had and the company made everything so easy and all of the staff were so friendly! Landing on the glacier during a scenic was truly special! I would absolutely recommend the Helicopter Line to anyone that I know! Tom and my pilot Simon were especially lovely:
