My parents recently stayed two nights at The Grosvenor in Timaru during their vacation and had a truly wonderful experience. Thy at the front desk was absolutely exceptional, warm, kind, and incredibly professional. She went above and beyond to arrange a beautiful room for them and made sure every detail of their stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She’s personable, attentive, and genuinely cares about guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and well looked after.nnThank you, Thy, for taking such lovely care of them and making their stay so pleasant. We highly recommend The Grosvenor for excellent hospitality!

Another great stay at the Grosvenor! The service is top-notch – friendly and always helpful. Rooms are spotless, and the beds are super comfy. Location is perfect, right in the heart of Timaru. Highly recommend for a convenient and enjoyable stay. We'll be back!
This classic, vintage hotel is super convenient and the rooms are clean n comfy.nTea from reception helped us check in and the whole process was smooth and welcoming. Enjoyed our stay and will be happy to come back next time!
Happen to be the ideal location while in town for a family wedding. Service was good and staff friendly, stayed in the Deluxe King Room, it was nice, clean and spacious with a simple set. A cute little window seat where you can see the part of the port, an open wardrobe, a couple of single chairs with a full view mirror on the wall, a simple Fridge and jug were set up on and under a table with the TV hung on the wall above. Bathroom spacious as well, shower pressure was good, and had a led mirror which was neat, however the sink was having issues it had a black button thing, which I suppose the purpose of it, was to put plug in to fill up the sink or to open to let the water out. How ever something must of jammed cause it took all night for the water to drain. They had an old school elevator where you had to close 2doors, didn't try it out though.
