We passed by on our way back to Christchurch, very convenient location, good food, lovely atmosphere, and amazing staff! Special props to Florian at the bar, which not only served us, but also helped us with a problem we had on the car.nWould strongly recommend it to anyone going to Akaroa!
Just pop in there for dinner last week and had an amazing time ! The French bartender Paloma was so nice and give us the best food recommendations on the menu! We ended up getting the butter chicken and bangers and mash and it was delicious !! We will come back!!
Cozy pub with a spacious outside area and great vibes. There was beautiful live music and thanks to the patio heaters we didn’t get cold despite the chilly evening. Food was priced reasonably and delicious, we had a burger and fish and chips. We’ll definitely be back!
We stayed in Akaroa and have stayed at the Grand Hotel several times. The welcome was superb, and we were served and assisted by Paloma, who made us feel comfortable and was very professional. We hope to return to your establishment soon.
Really ordinary service. Certainly not service with a smile, thats for sure. Think the barman was too interested in getting in a quick fag out the back . Pinching money with wines served just below the line- And not a ml over! No knowledge of happy hour specials. Won’t return. There are much better options in town.
