Went to the good home last night - we were seated without a reservation, which was very accommodating. What a stunner of a place for cleanliness, ambiance and decoration. The food was on point, we all 6 of us got something different and all content with portion size, taste and how well cooked it all was. Service was quick, the waiters were fantastic and friendly. And we made it during happy hour - the cocktails were so good. Pricing was fair for how great the food and drinks were. Parking is easy to find too. All round a great place to eat out and know you'll have a great night.
Great place! Never been before and it didn't fail to please. I got the buttermilk chicken salad and it was delicious.. heaps of salad. Definitely recommend
Great local bar with excellent beverages including Guinness on tap. The snapper I had for dinner was simply delicious and the portion very generous. Professional staff and cozy atmosphere with mant different areas to suit different groups or couples. Highly recommended Food: 5/5

Went there on Wednesday evening for dinner. Make the booking and we had a wonderful dinner there. Service: the waitress is friendly n nice, checking all our stuff are okie. Provided an excellent service. Food: fresh n yum, portion is big enough. The beef inside the pizza re in good quality. Especially the desserts, served with big size n taste so good. Setting is clear n tidy. Interior is bright n family welcome restaurant. They also provide lower table n chairs for kids. Have indoor n outdoor area for your selection Also, bar tables n chairs area for ppl to have drink with friends. Really good experience
We were celebrating a birthday and had our 98yr old father with us. We were pleased to see there was a lift at the front of the venue and he didn't have to use the stairs. The food was very good. Prawn Linguine, Lamb Rump and Salmon was a special of the day. Generous sizes and delivered promptly. Our waiter Ray was very obliging and we had a lovely afternoon there. It was our first time, but we will definitely be back.
Took our "nana" out for her 70th. Waitresses were lovely and service was prompt. Menu was straightforward, nothing radical or particularly awe inspiring. My partner and Nana had the rib eye steak and I had the chicken cabonara. The pasta was nice without being exceptional ...i ate it all. Drinks were drinks, except I paid $16 for a pint of beer!? Panhead. The biggest issue was the x2 rib eye meals. They came with a handful of chips, 6 onion rings and a couple of sauces in little containers......that was it? No veges, no salad nothing AND they charged $48 per steak!! We spent $186 on 3 meals anyone could have prepared at home for around $50!! Atrocious! This is price gouging at its worse! I guess some businesses think they can get away with it in small cut off communities ....choices being thinner on the ground. Ambiance was ordinary with very much the sports bar feel with a muddled tired interior. We all chatted and didn't fuss....Nana isn't the confrontational kind. So.......I didn't complain. But I was very disappointed and upset that such a lovely milestone was marred by greed and a tired kitchen. Over inflated prices, poor experience We will never go back.
Very exorbitant prices. 16 dollars for a pint. Find cheaper bevvies and tucker in Auckland CBD restaurants bars of the same calibre. But a nice spot. Nice atmosphere, good food and friendly accomodating staff. If you live in Puke and don't want to travel I imagine it would still be worth your whileFood: 4/5
