Came her for a 21st dinner. Cute lil open area to sit 30 people round about. I ordered myself a pork belly with lentils, kale and vanilla cauliflower puree. I think the pork belly was done perfectly. I wasn't to satisfied with the crackle as it was very chewy and not so crackley. The vanilla cauliflower puree did not compliment the dish at all I thought it was too sweet and tasted more like a dessert. However, the lentils and kale were beautiful together. My son had a Hawaiian pizza which was decent. And my partner had a beef burger with a side of fries. The burger was nice and the chips were nice too. We ordered a garlic bread loaf which was delicious with a side of pesto. I tried the wings which were delicious. The service was okay but when we asked for some more water, it never came. They were possibly understaffed so I don't want to jump to too much conclusions. All in all, the dinning was okay for me.
19/02 - 20/02/2023 over the two days i did Dinner, Brunch & Snack meal, pricing $$. Location was great as it was right next door to Ariki Backpackers where i was staying, in the middle of the Puke Ariki Museum & Library and the City Centre Shopping Mall and a view & access to the ocean. I ordered a Stone Grill Steak, so you basically cook the Steak and Prawns to your liking, salad was fresh with Mayo, and fried Onion Rings.. meal was delicious cause I cooked it lol. I returned the next afternoon for late lunch around 13:45 ordered french toast with berries, bacon, maple syrup and hash cakes this was also delicious with a glass of Mimosa. I returned that night and ordered a snack meal of Good Home Fries with Aioli Sauce with a glass of Fejoa juice. Customer Service is really good, they went out of their way to make me welcomed. Decor has themed rooms both in and out, they also have a Rooftop Restaurant Stairs ONLY, no elevator & Sports Bar on-site. Right on the main bus route.
Went there last Saturday after arriving in New Plymouth as our Motor Lodge had a Menu and it was great, decent tasty steak aswell as Fish’ n’ Chips. Friendly and helpful staff rounded the day up just fine. Very reasonable good prices aswell won’t cost you an arm and a leg . Anytime again cheers
Came here with three others while we were in town on business. The staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered the fish and chips which was plentiful and delicious. Another ordered the rolled chicken breast which he said was huge and really good. Another ordered the lamb which he says he orders all the time since it is so good. Nice choice of beers and all very reasonably priced. Good casual place to eat and drink.
We had a group of 30 for a birthday celebration. Liaising with Harsh on the booking leading up to it was seamless. On the night the table set up was nice, they were thoughtful and had a spot ready for cake and gifts. Kim looked after us all evening her service was impeccable, she was attentive, kind and didn't rush us. All meals were delicious and were brought out close together which often doesn't happen in a large group. Thanks for a great night GH
Have the chips and make sure to ask for double gravy, it’s delicious! Would have got 5 stars, but one of our party was served cold side dishes that should’ve been hot. They fixed it and comped some drinks, so all was forgiven.Recommended dishesBaby Back Ribs, Good Home Fries
Had my 30th here recently and we had the best time. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and all commented on how great the food, drink and general atmosphere was! Harsh and the team were awesome and so great to deal with leading up to and on the night. When you order a steak from a place that rate themselves on their steak, and ask for it rare, you don't expect it to be cooked medium. Especially when you pay $65 for it! Bought this to the waitress' attention whom said she'll let the kitchen know, and left me with my medium steak.... That was your opportunity to fix it, or even offer a free drink but here I am writing a review about it.....
