I had to edit my review after our second visit in two days. I really appreciate that they run 100% gluten free fish and chipery, and a lot of products is really tasty, but one should only eat it occasionally as it is just too oily.

Decided to try some fish and chips, ordered terakihi.  Absolutely loved the batter.  However, the fish was far from fresh a little tough, couldn't finish it, I guess it had been frozen and the chips average.  Will try again some time, but will need to improve before we'll become regulars.

We used to go to the  welcome bay fish and chips  shop because we live in welcome  bay  but decided to try the mangatapu chippery. We are hooked. We will definitely  be coming here all the time.  Beautiful tasty fish and I love your potato fritters.

Delicious, lovely owner, absolutely 5 star  we had, fish, chips, potato fritter and hotdog between us both, was really great food

Clean and tidy. Mussels bit tough but fish in gluten free coating was nice.

Will not go back. Shop smelt and fish tasted of flour and was to oily.and took 37 minutes for my order

10/10 guys just finished my dinner and once again perfect, and great customer service also , always smiling .

Gluten-free spring roll...urgh - sludgey and saggy...not nice.   Chips are good tho

Drove all the way here to find it doesn’t open until 4pm. Update your website and google listing so this doesn’t happen to others.
