Definitely worth stopping. Delicious homemade selection of food, warm friendly service and plenty of small town charm.
We came here due to trying to find somewhere open on Christmas Eve. We were not disappointed. The muffin and Neenish tart were rated highly by the husband and kid. The coffee was good, I especially liked how large their large was! However, the sausage roll was dry and lacked flavour. The mini potato tops were ok but not great.
First time I've ever been here, staff really lovely and friendly. I had a savory brioche and coffee. Both were excellent. Thanks
Delightful clean organized historic cafe food served warm and served quickly. Hot drinks perfect. Good spaces so one is not crowded Appealing cabinet food. Cheery staff greeting customers. Clean toilet with soap and towels. Love the style of cafe. One larger room for a bigger group.
This cafe has the wow factor. The food is a good variation of traditional nz and Euro foods. Mostly prepared at the cafe. Great smoothies. Strong coffee

Great coffee especially with the extra shot. The food looks really good but a little expensive especially when you can go across road for good food and a great price but don't try their coffee.
Friendly, tasty, clean. Nice place to take a wee rest. Good pies, good chips, but I saw they serve real food too.
