This is a cute little general store outside of the Waitomo glowworm caves. When we arrived there, they weren’t serving as much food, but they have a bunch of snacks and beverages and a place to sit.
Terrific store for Waitomo - great out door seating in the warm sunshine, young friends hard working staff. Their chicken and beef burgers delicious as were their loaded nachos & vegetable frittata. They sell a few items eg detergents, clothing jewellery, snack food, chips aswell, We went there twice for lunch and loved it ! Really lovely people

Even though we had our breakfast as a takeaway, the big breakfast was really nice, and my wife loved her eggs benedict. The whole layout of the cafe was nice. Love the service and the food.
We loved this place! Went for dinner, service and food were both good, music playing was upbeat and welcoming. Half way through our meal Jess the cook and owner came and asked if she could give our 6 yr old daughter homemade poi’s that she had made. We were incredibly touched, unknown to Jess we live in US and have US accents I was born in NZ, am part maori and had pois as a little girl - truly the most special gift we could of received.nnWe burgers and fries that were delicious and returned the next morning for brekky! Eggs Benedict for my husband and myself, eggs toast and bacon for our daughter. Best Eggs Benedict we have had so far!nnHighly recommend the food, staff, service and atmosphere!
