Staff was friendly and accommodating. The setting was great. At the back end of the restaurant, where lots of plants and greens were planted in pots. The front of house looks well decorated. The food was great. The price might be on the higher end as some of the reviews have pointed out. The Shed Burger was interesting see picture of burger. Overall, it was a cool dining experience.
Enjoyed our evening out here! Definitely recommend. I loved the theme as well as the atmosphere. Despite it being located on a busy road it did not feel that way inside. Customer service was great they tnrded to our needs and we were served our meal quickly too.
Overall experience was pleasant Staff’s friendly and warm. Food’s delicious. Cappuccino’s a highlight for me they were pretty generous with chocolate sprinkles . Beautiful spot! Worth it. I’m definitely going back! Highly recommended
We had a small, casual and intimate Wedding ceremony & Reception at The Garden Shed. First off the venue itself is lovely, full of garden greenery and great lighting. We didn't need much extra to decorate! which was perfect. Food is delicious and very filling and also fancy enough for a wedding sit down dinner. Drink selection especially the cocktails was awesome. The staff were very welcoming, caring and always there to cater to any of our needs. They tell you how much of your bar tab is left over throughout the night which is helpful some guests drink more than others. Jessica the events manager & coordinator is great! always there to answer any questions anytime of the day via text, call and email, when is comes to preparation. Katheryn, Calvin & Sam were serving us throughout night who were outstanding and work very hard! Pay rises should be considered for all staff mentioned here ; For a wedding services I'd give them a 4.75/5 there could have been a few things tweaked. This is stuff I'd usually not care about if it was a birthday party, but with weddings I tend to be a little more particular. Although overall we all had a magical afternoon and evening : I would still recommend these guys for small weddings and of course any other kind of small-medium event. Any constructed feedback small things has been given back to them for future events : Thank you all that made this possible and for allowing us to postpone due to covid-19. You made our day special and memorable. We'll be back for our one year anniversary, if not earlier! P.S this was typed out by Mrs Young
Booked a birthday dinner for my wife on a Tuesday. One of the worst mistakes I’ve ever done in my life. Even though the restaurant was empty we were given a really small table next to the front window under a heater. We asked to change our table but they said they cannot. Ordered food and the food was terrible. Fries were unevenly cut uncooked huge potatoe pieces. Burgers were burnt, too much salt and was a soggy mess. Glass I was given was smelly and discoloured. Fried chicken was so bland and even my kid refuse to eat it. Worst thing was there was no space to keep our ordered food on the table. The waiter awkwardly tried to help manage the food on the table. We barely touched our food and rushed out with disappointment. At the cashier I gave feedback to the manager and he apologised for the inconvenience. He provided a voucher to make up to it. After reaching home we read most of the negative reviews on this restaurant and they all 100% align with our experience. Do not waste your time here.
Came to the Garden Shed for some sunny evening cocktails and food! Our experience was made all the better by our amazing waitress Emily, she served us always with a smile and was very attentive to us! She was super friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu and helping us to decide on our cocktails and food! Beautiful garden area too will definitely be back!
Was so happy my husband took me to this lovely, lovely place. As a plant lover myself, I was just mind-blown when I stepped inside. We went for dinner and the place was just warm in winter. Not too crowded that time and we had our cozy spot. The food was good and looked pretty. Awesome customer service, made sure we were satisfied with our dining experience.
Love this place, frequent it often. the servers are always pleasant and accommodating and whilst I took pictures of the menu, they change frequently, but the farmers board shared between two was a winner. Would recommend booking and asking for a seat out back in the garden, busy most nights. Also bonus with decent beers and a good wine list that won’t break the bank
Probably the most beautiful restaurant in Auckland! The courtyard is stunningly designed. Garden is the theme of the restaurant so every little thing is related to the theme. How about the food? Yummy! Beautifully cooked. We enjoyed every meal we ordered even vegetarian one. Kid loves the burger with extra beacon. Highly recommended
The Garden Shed is a pet-friendly and beautiful place. I would recommend it as a great place to get a drink and a snack. The food is good, slightly more expensive than similar cafes nearby.
