Not too sure if it was an off night but the food was a bit disappointing. Ordered: chips, wontons, crab sticks, potato fritters and spring rolls and a hot dog. The chips were oddly well fried but not at all crispy. The batter seemed over fried and had started peeling off the hot dog and potato fritters. The taste was ok, but not as good as we remember it. Hopefully when we decide to come in for another visit the food will be a bit better. Lovely staff and wait time was pretty standard for a fish and chips shop.

These guys were really good before, todays lunch terrible the fish was just tossed roughly in the paper and way to over salted. No care taken at all half the batter was hanging off 3 pieces of fish all broken everywhere like fish bites. Wont be back.Food: 1/5
Used be above average but not any more. Phone ordered for pick up at 6pm, chips were cold and the 1 fish and 4 mussels were dripping with oil. Took 4 handy towels to soak up the oil. The Gallay burger was nothing special, no egg, no beetroot, just 2 patties a slice of bacon with tomato and lettuce. There has got to be better places to eat ?
Great fish, reasonably fast service on a packed evening & friendly staff. Chips were a little under for me but not a biggy. Best fish and chips shops in Pukekohe I reckon.
Food quality is great, and for a fish and chips take away restaurant, they make great burgers and sell the best chips for the best price! It's definitely a regular for usFood: 5/5
We ordered tonight...was the worst we have had from there...opened the paper and the oil ran everywhere so the obviously hadn't drained it before transferring to paper...we ordered scallops in our order and didn't receive them...the chips were over cooked as was the fish...very disappointing...won't be back after that...used to be so nice from there
