The Franklin Taphouse & Kitchen is a modern pub that’s clean, tidy, and very well presented. The indoor-outdoor flow works really well and creates a welcoming atmosphere that’s easy to settle into.nnService here is excellent and the staff make sure you’re well looked after throughout your visit. The menu offers classic pub-style food with a modern twist, and the pizzas are definitely worth trying when the pizza oven is running.nnPrices for food and drinks are a little higher than average, but overall the experience makes it worthwhile.
We ordered the Franky's Double Cheese Beef, 2 Lamb shanks, Carne Nachos, and Aged Chargrilled Sirloin. The burger and Lamb were amazing! We absolutely loved them. The Nachos were yummy as well. The Sirloin was okay. The cut had a lot of chewy bits and I had to take it out of my mouth. They were so generous and allowed us to remove it from the bill and order another Lamb shank! Highly recommend it.
We were warmly greeted by the owner who took the time to chat and inform us about the food and drinks on offer. We decided to get 3 plates, the big breakfast, bacon benny, and a prosciutto pizza from the wood-fired pizza oven in the courtyard.nnFood preparation was quick, the coffee was good and hot and the plated food presentation was first class. Ingredient quality, portions and construction of the meals were on point. Everyone enjoyed their meal.nnWe will definitely be venturing back here again for brunch very soon.nnThanks to the team for a great experience!
Lovely fresh food, ordered in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend the prawns, it is absolutely cooked to perfection and the sauce is amazing! The restaurant itself is clean, spacious and i would come back for lunch any time.nnStopped in again and ordered more good food, loved everything!
Food is amazing, the staff are super friendly. Love our local taphouse. Always has interesting events like Quiz and Music Bingo to name a few. Jas is actually amazing!!
