Wife and I went in and had sirloin, salad and fries and fish burger had two decent sized pieces with a BRB hazy IPA off their all day menu. All the food was cooked and tasted spot on, the mushroom sauce was excellent and the salad fresh. Very pleasant staff. Will beeline back when next visiting.
Very nicely decorated place. Kind and professional service. Great salads. Nice menu selection. Pizza is delicious, however mine got burned corners and ingredients were all in middle. Definitely good place to eat if you travel around. I will visit again.
The Franklin is a lovely pub in Beachlands. It has something for everyone. It has some dinner specials throughout the week. The rest of the menu can be pricey depending on what you order. At the moment they have a gin tree , 3 Amalfi gins for $30 which was a hit with the girls. Overall we had a great time.
Saturday 5 pm first visit.nnThe server acted like she hated her job and customers. Asked a few questions about recommendations etc but you would think you asked her a stupid question.nnAsked about happy hour, apparently its changed due to new owners... but the fb story was from a few hours earlier. Did they change owners that fast nnAnyhow. Food... very poor in comparison to other places. Overpriced.nnUnfortunately not a good experience.nnThe bar is nice though and was a good atmosphere during the rugby game.
I called to make sure they opened for trading, specifically asked if they are serving pizza. I got a kind gesture of a yes . We took the kids and ordered a few pizzas and drinks , sat down and awaited our drinks, then got told that sorry we don’t have pizza dough. WOW JUST AFTER WE CALLED TO SEE IF PIZZAS ARE AVAILABLE .
