I was in the resto and the food was made to look sort of fancy but the taste was ordinary. Less value to the price. Service was quite good though.Service: 4/5
Magnifique hôtel, très belle déco, emplacement parfait et très bonne literie. Pour le reste, l'hôtel est très mal entretenu : pas mal de choses cassées/qui ne marchent pas ou tachées. C'est vrai dans la chambre comme dans les couloirs. C'est très dommage car cela pourrait être un hôtel vraiment formidable. Au final, le rapport qualité prix n'est pas très bon. Belle déco ne veut pas dire bon design : une seule lampe de chevet si on veut lire tard, il faut choisir le bon côté du lit..., porte vitrée à la salle de bain vraiment désagréable pour l'intimité, surtout sans WC séparés, grosses traces d'humidité dans la douche de par le choix de ne pas la carreler. Le béton ciré dans une douche ce n'est pas possible... Sans parler de l'absence de porte de douche. Il y a des projections d'eau partout. Enfin, le système de lumière basé sur le tout électronique est très difficile à comprendre et totalement inutile. En bref, une expérience mitigée au vu du prix assez élevé. Walkability: Attention, pas de parking dan cet hôtel située en zone piétonne. Il faudra vous garer à une 7/10 minutes à pied de l'hôtel.
This hotel is in a magnificent historic building which gives great charm and could make it top notch place to stay. I used to come here often few years ago when it opened and really enjoyed it. This time I have been very disappointed. Rooms despite confortable bed are not well maintained. The curtains were off their hooks when I checked in and the handle of the door is falling each time I open the door. I have been here for 3 nights already and notified the issue from the beginning and still it is not fixed. Furthermore the housekeeping is very light basically they just make the bed and change the towels, coffee machine I have to clean myself, and the wine cooler that I used the first night is still hanging in the room…. Really could be better and does not match the standing of such hotel.

The hotel is beautiful but many things are broken. Our safe didn’t work despite repeatedly asking for it to be fixed. There was no door on the bathroom/toilet. We asked for an extra pillow. None. Reception continually apologized but nothing happened. I wanted to like this hotel but it needs maintenance.
Really really disappointed with this hotel. Way too expensive for what they are offering. Really slow service at the reception, often no people there. Stayed 3 nights and the bed linen was not changed at all! Not even once…When I checked out I was told the invoice would be sent by mail shortly…Took more than 2 weeks after sending them several mails…was told, they are now part of a new chain and not enough people to handle requests… So, based on my experience, I propose you to choose another hotel to stay if you are in Leuven.
Visited the restaurant for a business dinner. The experience started out bad and the turned into terrible. The 1st symptom that should have worried us was that they ran out of water!!! Yes, no bottled water. The service was very, very slow. The food was made to look very fancy but the taste was extremely poor. But the biggest surprise came at the end, when they tried to cheat us with the bill. We received a bill for more than we had consumed. The difference was almost double!!!! Avoid the place at all costs.
It took me a while to write this review, but we had the worst Valentine’s dinner ever. Service was slow, wines were not brought together with food.. fish was not well cooked but they didn’t want to change it because I had already eaten the veggies while I was waiting for the waitress. We mentioned, while reserving, that I was lactose intolerant and they forgot, meaning that I got a kiwi and some sorbet as dessert. At the end of the dinner, the manager was not even apologetic and I had to ask for free drinks myself as a minimum compensation… really terrible
Most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in for a long time. Beautiful building and perfect location. The layout of the bathroom is a little bit odd. The water of the shower spills out. Some of the light controls seem not to work.
Terrible experience at the restaurant. Arrogant service, food below expectations. We had a company dinner there. Only wanted to serve one menu and as we had a vegetarian person, that meant only vegetarian for everyone. Turns out that menu was an appetizer and a starter. Nothing else. Great other choices in Leuven. Avoid this one.
