The Food Junction Orewa

Pity the scale doesn't go up to 11. This place is awesome. A really wide variety of options, and they're all fantastic. I had a curry, and it was seriously delicious, with real spices - not the generic watered down stuff you get from other chain Indian Food places. Not too hot, but with a really deep rich flavour. Both mine and my partners meal were VERY affordable and also very big servings. And they didn't mind us getting take away containers for what we couldn't finish!! On top of great food though, at great prices - there's the service. Very very friendly and attentive. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Highly recommend to anyone for anything on their menu.

Great food by great people at a good price. Wonderful choices of Indian or Thai food expertly cooked. Always a pleasure @3 times a week. Orewa is fortunate. Try it you won't regret. Steve

Used to be great, as of two months ago something changed. Portion sizes have been significantly reduced, far less meat and vegetables proportionally. They've moved to much smaller containers and even then they're never full, maybe 3/4. What a shame, loved this place before.

Delivery, on time, 1 star. As the saying goes jack of all trades master of none. I had thai? red curry,sauce watery,chicken chewy,vegies from a frozen bag. Wife had kebab,sloppy not much meat. Piled onto some soggy chips. Very disappointing.

Always had great service and amazing food in the dozens of times we have been here. Best priced kebabs and currys on the coast.

My partner and I were extremely impressed with the flavors of the curries and the value is 2nd to none. Thank you Orewa Food Junction.
