Found this place in a Rotterdam Hidden Gems website, and I am very happy to have gone all the way there to see this one of a kind Farm. It's not open every day, but absolutely worth going there, asking questions and chatting with the workers.  Also all the products they sold looked very very good. As I was limited to what I could carry, I only got a yogurt €1,85 which was very good

It is a model that brings products closer to consumers, showing the reality of farms.  Efforts are made every day to be more and more ecological, the planet now demands changes and here are concrete changes.  Now vegetables are being produced vertically, free of pesticides, with a minimum consumption of water and with a lot of love and hope for a better world.

Interests concept .... but... Ofcourse man vs nature. The picture shows the infrastructure with trees inside etc ... Ofcourse always looks better on a paper plans.

These animals are intensively farmed. They show them grazing in the field and it is a PR stunt. They suffer. It is a nightmare for an animal to exist in such a unnatural crowded, cruel environment.

I love the floating farm. Their dairy products are fantastic, their tomatoes are so tasty and I love the selection of extras in the store. Workers are always kind and helpful. Couldn’t recommend more.

The concept of a self sustaining floating farm with zero waste is amazing. There are a couple of volunteers working to ensure the well being of the dairy cows, as well as providing information for visitors. Their dairy and yogurt are top quality. My only critique is that they cannot yet guarantee opening hours beyond Friday and Saturday. They need more volunteers, and they deserve it!
