We are here on holiday from Wellington, this was by far the best fish and chips we have had. To top it off, the two ladies serving us were very friendly, and helpful. I would recommend The Fish Cove to any and everyone.
I haven’t been here for a while, the gurnard was delicious, fresh with just the right amount of crispy batter. The curry roll was also very tasty. Thanks ladies.
Used to be a big fan of this shop, but the quality of the food has been lacking a lot recently.nLast week, it was like half of my chips were old ones that were microwaved and then mixed with normal ones. They tasted old and were very soggy.nDecided to try it again today and it wasn't as bad, although the oil still tasted very old, and gave us a bit of an upset stomach.nCertainly won't be coming back here for a while.
