Tried this place a few times, hoping we just got a bad day, but nope not good. Got 2 scoops of chips and the portion was tiny, not enough for 2 adults and 2 younger kids they were also undercooked and soggy, some were almost raw. Super greasy, got all the way through to the outside of the paper. Kids wouldn't eat the hot dogs. Fish was soggy and dry inside.
Tried this place and had the best fish and chips for a long time . Would have give it 5 star but went back a week later on a Friday and the chips weren’t that good old oil. But the pricing is good
One of the better fish and chip shops in Rangiora.nGood size portion fish, but chip scoops average.nLower rating than food deserves as they constantly forget stuff from our orders. 2 out of 3 orders result in having to go back to get missing food to complete order.nCheck your order!
The Fish Bowl does the best Bluff Oysters in town. They must be cooked from fresh because the oyster is only just cooked, is so juicy, and tastes wonderful. The fish is also very good..
Great tasting fish and chips, a bit more expensive, but worth it. Chips are tasty, not dry or overcooked, but portions are very small. So if you are feeding a family of 6 you would want 2+ scoops. I have had the fish and hamburgers and they are also very tasty, typical fish and chip shop flavour. I recommend their crumbed hoki
