The food was amazing! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with decisions. Order upfront and they bring it out to your table. $51.00 NZD and $31.50USD for all 4 items in photos. You have to check out the sweet counter it does not disappoint.
What a great little spot to have a meal! We love coming to Espi Cafe every year, either for their coffee, ice cream or just good food! Their shakes are to die for as well. We'll be back!
Fantastic cafe! Having brunch with families and the the food was great! The vegetarian salad came with such a big portion with reasonable price. The big breakfast has so many in it and tastes great! Highly recommended and will definitely come back!
Came today morning to Espy Cafe in Whitianga, NZ, the Cafe looks nice and had a nice google review one of the reasons we chose it. Never suspect bad things!!nWe ordered Eggs Benedict with Creamy Mushrooms, and two coffees... the nice and friendly staff takes our order and they took almost no time to prepare our order.nI was amazed until the food came!!nThe eggs test and smiles very bad, and the mushrooms smiles like it's been setting in storage for decades!!nI thought saying something their but decided just leave the place and never come back!!nWe had this almost same order for breakfast everywhere in NZ, Europe, North Africa, Dubai... but never had this bad experience like today at Espy before... not sure if they have a bad starting day or they're like this normally!!nAs their google review looks good!!
Wow, what a dining experience. Called in to The Espry Cafe for brunch, along with many others, place was packed, alive with the sounds of earnest conversation, kāwhe's being made, and food being prepared.nnAmple seating inside and out, although with light rain falling, most were inside, lovely decorated with Christmas decorations.nnCabinet food looked delicious and hard to pass by, so I got a cheesecake lollie dessert, along with an open steak sandwich, ultimate Espy smoothie, and a cappuccino with chocolate.nnKai was delicious, steak melted in my mouth, and salad was lovely. Kāwhe was well made, and I loved the additional chocolate fish. The Espy smoothie was huge and the best smoothie I've had in a long time.nnA perfect dining experience, if you're in Whitianga or surrounds I caught the ferry across from Ferry Landing, Cooks Beach, it's well worth the visit, you won't be disappointed, I wasn't.
