First time i tried the crispy salmon with red rice. Yum! portion was great and I could taste lots of flavors. Yum plus I had carrot cake for dessert.Food: 5/5
Average experience. Ordered the French toast - the bread had a bite to it as though it wasn't fresh. The menu also mentions cinnamon but there was barely any flavour of cinnamon in the dish, and the presentation was meh at best. My friend ordered the potato stack - the potato could have used more seasoning, the portion size was very small even for a cafe, and the mushrooms were just thrown on the plate. Once again nothing special. Their lemon ginger tea was nice, probably the best thing we ordered. Don't think I would visit again.
Tried it, loved it. Fantastic service, vibrant atmosphere, great food, ticked all the boxes. Went for breakfast, and had a good selection to choose from, they were kind enough to offer GF swaps on the French Toast and the Big Breakfast. Great quality ingredients, quick turn around, and busy but not crammed, so clearly the locals know to come here.
Thank you to Elm cafe who hosted our large probably rowdy too group today. The menu food was delicious, the carrot cake you organised for 65th birthday was moist and scrumptious. Staff always had a smile on their face, helpful and no request was a problem :Food: 5/5
Called into the Elm Cafe as Hilltop was closed. The cafe was very busy but we got a table and ordered drinks and cheese scones. The service was efficient and surprisingly fast with water and glasses, then scones, and finally our drinks in quick succession. The Cheese Scones were delicious, light and tasty, I cannot think of a cafe that has better.
Warm in winter. I stopped in for coffee with friends and the tables are a good size for meeting with a small group. The decor is understated, cozy and classy, and the service is prompt and very friendly. The front smoke-stop door is great for keeping the weather out, but is very heavy which causes some problems for folk in wheelchairs or those with mobility challenges. I found it well worth the visit because the coffee was lovely, and I stayed for quite a while rather than braving the weather!
A pretty busy cafe. Love the coffee and the brunch. The French Toast is wonderful. The Salmon with crispy potato is yummy but the serving size is pretty small.
Good place for breakfast. Amazing friendly staff. Good selection of food and coffee. There’s also free parking.Food: 4/5
A very popular cafe with delicious collection not a lot though of non vegetarian items. The prices for most items are above $27. While the taste is good, the quantity isn't much though you can easily feel hungry after 2 hours. Lots of seating, with limited/no dedicated parking options.
Awesome Brunch food was awesome thanksFood: 5/5
