Love it! We came here to snaffle the voucher deal on dumplings from the Wellington Advent Calendar. And came back the next day to try other things. The vegetarian dumplings are to die for. Yum! Then I had Salt n Pepper Tofu on rice. So good! My other had Katsu Chicken on rice. So good! All with lashings of chilli oil, yum! Will go again and again.
Order was wrong in multiple ways three mistakes with drink and wrong kind of dumplings. I was the only customer at the time of ordering. Store itself has a nice, clean feel, complimentary chili oil and soy sauce on the table alongside multiple types of chopsticks to select the kind you like. Food was not to my taste, though I appreciate that the chili oil was actually somewhat spicy unlike the standard underwhelming examples common to NZ.
Cheap snacking place. A bit of a wait but they cook from scratch which is very nice. Food is tasty here and the cream cheese is awesome as well
Delicious soup base and chewy noodles. Dumplings were an explosion of flavour. I got the vegetarian chilli noodle
Tasty baos. Dumplings also looked very delicious
Really cute and cosy dumpling place. Great for lunch with friends or just go alone! Decent variety of dumplings with a nice range of filings cooked to order. Super delicious. A little bit on the pricey side for the portion size, but worth it if you need that quick, tasty dumpling fix.
Friendly staffs efficient service made to order pan fried dumplings. Limited high seatings inside. Noodles and rice available as well. Dumplings were a bit too oily for me but not bad. 8 for $8. Good for takeaways or quick bites.
Very average fast food. The means are certainly quick, but the presentation and taste is bland and uninteresting. The pan fried coriander and seafood dumplings I had were stodgy and needed lots of seasoning to be made edible. The dim sum were soft and also bland - I was vaguely aware they contained pork.
Best dumplings in my opinion. Does help to order ahead of time if you're getting take away just to save the lining up. Pork buns are great too and decent value for money.
its alright but nothing special, kind of cheap lunch.
