What a great little find. After a rainy arvo at the spa we came across this pub on the way out of town. Very cozy and inviting, the staff were lovely very friendly and chatty. We shared a bowl of stew and they thoughtfully bought out 2 bowls for us. We also tried the Cassels milk stout and needed another as it was so good. Also good tunes playing.. We look forward to visiting again.
I travelled from Australia to New Zealand, and at the end of my journey I discovered a truly wonderful place — The Dubliner Irish Pub. The food was absolutely outstanding and full of flavour. We ordered the roast chicken and a chicken pizza, and both dishes were cooked perfectly with amazing taste and beautiful presentation.nnI highly recommend this place to everyone, especially for the quality of the food and the warm atmosphere. We really enjoyed our experience here, and it was a perfect ending to our holiday. Thank you so much — we hope to visit again soon!
Dropped in not knowing what to expect and were extremely pleasantly surprised. Warm welcome from Front of House who looked after us the whole time. Irish stew was absolutely divine, tender chunks of meat with no slimey or fatty bits whatsoever. Baileys Tiramisu was creamy and filling. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her pork belly which was rendered to perfection. Liked the cosy yet not overcrowded atmosphere. Music was at a good level so you could still easily have a conversation. I will definitely be back, and recommending The Dubliner to others :
Amazing atmosphere with an open fire. Very cozy on a cool night. Great service and melt in the mouth food.. attentive maitre d but not intrusive. We had the Irish stew and the roast chicken and both were cooked to perfection.. can highly recommend here when you are in Methven..
This is the best ribeye with mash I’ve had, absolutely comforting and flavorful. Perfect for a tired body, especially after a long day of skiing. Highly recommend!
