ESCAPE YOURSELF - accommodation for two (separate/couple)
(best time to visit is November to April)

Just 1.5 hours drive south of Auckland, there is a quiet place to stay in Waitawheta, North Island, New Zealand near the Karangahake Gorge and Karangahake mountain.

Mystical and magnificent views of mountains, giant Mamaku fern trees and protected forest throughout the year. Close to rivers, bike/jogging trails, mountain hiking and historical sites with loads of birds and sunsets. Tranquil and peaceful .... great for star gazing after a busy day of activities nearby and perfect for those who want to write a book or some songs, paint, meditate or just escape themselves for a while.

WAIHI (10 km)
Waihi Beach/Town (20 minutes).

This is a quiet and secluded location with privacy assured. A minimum of two nights stay. Two dogs roam freely during the day.

A high quality, insulated wooden interior chalet with double glazed windows and doors. A semi - detached insulated bathroom with hot/cold shower, toilet and vanity. Good signal for 3G and 4G.

INDEMNITY NOTICE

If you or any member of your party have any medical condition, disability or food intolerance at the time of booking and/or at any other time until the completion of your stay with us which may affect your stay, please tell our manager or staff member so we can advise you of the suitability of your plans. If we reasonably feel unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned, we must reserve the right to decline the booking.

GUESTS RESPONSIBILITY

All guests have a responsibility to abide by the rules and directions of the owners and managers. Also if a guest causes damage to Walai Mamaku property or that of any third party we reserve the right to terminate their stay and we will be under no further liability for refunds or in meeting any costs incurred as a result.

By contracting to be our guest, you are expressly assuming all the risks and responsibilities of participation and are, to the maximum extent permitted by law releasing Walai Mamaku, it’s owners, it’s employees, and any other person associated with us, from any liability, claims, loss, damages or expenses (whatsoever and irrespective of whether direct, or indirect or consequential) caused by any event including but not limited to: personal injury or death; property loss or damage; acts which may be construed as negligible or accidental; any other loss, damage, suffering, emotion or nervous disorder suffered by you or any other person in relation to this booking on or via this website. You accept that you have been advised to obtain adequate travel insurance for all persons named on the booking.

You accept that all persons named on the booking are aware of and are bound by the following:

My successors, executors and administrators are bound by the Terms and Conditions;

I agree not to commence any litigation proceedings in any country in relation to the risks and liabilities set out above and to indemnify the Owners and Manager against all and any claims;

I confirm and warrant I suffer no medical conditions, which may affect my ability to stay here.

I consent to receive medical treatment in the case of injury, accident or illness during my stay and indemnify the Owners and Manager against any claims, costs or expenses in respect of the treatment;

I agree that any film, sound, video or other recordings taken of or during my stay will not be used in any production, or advertising without prior consent of the Owners and Manager, however, the Owners and Manager may use such recordings itself at its complete discretion without any prior approval;

I agree to listen to and co-operate with my host, manager, and staff of Walai Mamaku, follow their instructions and make sure any others in my care (including children) do the same.

I agree that I will not cause offence, distress, danger or annoyance to other guests.
